How you’ll contribute

The Captain maintains full control and responsibility for the overall safety, efficiency and smooth operation of company aircraft flights. The Captain's primary purpose is to provide safe air transportation to company executives and their guest(s).

  • Perform the duties of the aircraft commander

  • Perform Instruction/Training Flights with UT personnel

  • Prepare a detailed flight plan based on thorough review of route, weather reports, flight restrictions and schedules for departures and arrivals

  • Ensure all aircraft systems and on-board safety and navigation equipment are in working order and have been approved by qualified technicians

  • Complete pre-flight checks and brief the passengers

  • Track and log all information pertaining to technical issues; complete the standard flight documentation as required by the Director of Aviation

  • All other duties as required

For this role you will need

Minimum Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree with at least 12 years of experience as a licensed commercial pilot OR an Associate's Degree with at least 10 years of experience as a licensed commercial pilot OR a Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years experience as a licensed pilot

  • ATP with Single or Multi-Engine, First Class Medical

  • Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument

  • 4,000+ hours of flight time

  • 2,000+ hours of flight time as Pilot in Command

  • 1,000+ hours flight time PC12-NG or NGX as Pilot in Command

  • Understanding of domestic/international rules and regulations

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Knowledge of in-flight safety

  • Remains calm under pressure

  • Polite and personable

  • Interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Prepared for emergency situations

  • Detail-oriented

  • Able to work alone or with a team

Preferred Qualification s

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2000 hours flight time in PC12
