How you’ll contribute

Serve as an educational resource deployed to help ensure that nurses, pharmacists, MD’s and other allied healthcare professionals are sufficiently educated on the safe and effective use of Unituxin.

This is a home-office based position with a territory covering 15 states from California to Alabama. Successful candidates will live near a major airport with easy access to flights.

  • Support nurses, pharmacists, MD’s and other allied healthcare professionals with all aspects of Unituxin, to include initiation, dosing and adverse reaction management. Share and deliver presentation on approved branded and unbranded resources developed to assist clinicians with the administration of Unituxin, and materials to educate patient/families on neuroblastoma and antibody therapy. Calls will be more frequent to children’s hospitals with less experience with antibody therapy to provide assurance that Unituxin will be used safely and appropriately.

  • In addition to proactively calling on identified hospitals, reactively respond to requests from clinicians that reach UT via unituxin.com and conferences.

  • Oncology Specialists team will represent Unituxin and/or UT Oncology at exhibit booths at approximately 8 regional and national conferences to educate pediatric oncology healthcare teams on Unituxin, and/or patients/families on neuroblastoma and antibody therapy.

  • Schedule peer-to-peer speaker programs with hospitals and professional meetings, and monitor the live programs.

  • Perform other duties or support special projects as assigned.

For this role you will need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years’ clinical experience in Oncology

  • RN or BSN, PA, or NP required

  • Active licensure and board certifications where applicable

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Ability to travel at least 70%

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong teaching and presentation skills

  • Ability to work as part of a larger team

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Pediatric Oncology working with immunotherapies

  • Project Management skills are preferred
