How you’ll contribute
The objective of our overall Patient Support Program is to is to ensure patients have the knowledge, resources, and logistical support necessary to help effectively manage their conditions and adhere to treatments prescribed by their HCP. This individual will play a key role by ensuring that the Patient Relations team has the correct and appropriate messaging to enable productive conversations with patients, their caregivers, and their healthcare professionals.
Develop and maintain a knowledge management system to be utilized across the patient support program
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on uniform messaging to be utilized in patient facing engagements
Develop, maintain, and expand the taxonomy as needed or warranted to facilitate fast and easy access to messaging by the end users
Guide the preparation and review of all content in the knowledge management system while engaging cross-functional partners where appropriate
Responsible for all aspects of project management involved in planning, organizing, and coordinating to ensure content is available and approved in time for appropriate training and utilization
Work closely with the patient relations leadership team to ensure messaging is developed, reviewed, approved, and trained in a timely manner to support new programs and initiatives
Regularly review and update content to ensure design and functionality of the knowledge management capability is maintained and end user needs are continuously met
Implement a process to obtain feedback directly from patients and internal end users to identify areas of messaging opportunity (i.e. continuous improvement)
Manage technical maintenance of the system in collaboration with IT
All Patient Relations activities will be performed in a manner that is consistent with and compliant with all laws and company policies

For this role you will need
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, communications, information systems, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage cross functional stakeholders
Demonstrated content management or database management experience
Experience with design and operations of knowledge management systems/platforms (e.g. SharePoint)
Excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Patient-centric mindset
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Salesforce or Healthcloud CRM platforms
Ability to travel up to 10%
Position to be based out of our RTP, NC office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with text or chat HIPPA compliant communication methods
Rare disease and/or complex therapy administration experience
