How you’ll contribute

Generate, communicate and disseminate newly generated health economics and outcome research (HEOR) and clinical data to key external stakeholders, primarily U.S. healthcare payers.

  • Engage health plans, pharmacy-benefit managers, hospitals and the like (i.e. U.S. Payers) in a rich scientific dialogue about our products and pipeline. When relevant, attend meetings with National Account Managers (NAMs) and/or Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).

  • Lead and assist in developing HEOR strategic and tactical plans for products in development and commercialized products including core PAH portfolio.

  • Help develop value propositions for products in development; identify key value drivers for healthcare Payers, Prescribers, Patients and Regulators.

  • Lead and contribute to HEOR publications including abstracts, posters and manuscripts.

  • Assist in creating FDAMA 114 / Section 3037 pieces.

  • Develop HEOR slide decks for field teams.

  • Partner with medical information on dossiers, medical information letters, etc. to incorporate HEOR data into key medical materials.

  • Work with Managed Markets to understand U.S. Payer insights and communicate to internal medical teams.

  • Attend HEOR and Managed Markets conferences to present data, attend relevant scientific sessions and professionally network and build relationships in the HEOR and Managed Markets professional community.

  • Attend medical and commercial advisory boards and present HEOR data when relevant.

  • General HEOR tactical work such as economic modeling, questionnaire development and validation, claims and electronic medical records database studies, systematic literature reviews, epidemiology and public health studies.

  • Coordinate with pricing, policy and reimbursement team to inform value-based pricing strategy and to integrate key policy and reimbursement initiatives into communications with U.S. Payers and field teams.

  • Help to develop state Medicaid testimonies, incorporating new clinical and HEOR information into overall product value story. Present at Medicaid meetings when needed.

  • Expand HEOR support to broader pipeline of products including but not limited to oncology, medical devices, regenerative medicine.

For this role you will need

  • Doctoral level degree, e.g. PharmD, PhD or MD

  • Concentration in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, statistics, public health, public policy or a related academic discipline preferred

  • 4+ years professional experience in HEOR, Medical Affairs, Managed Markets, Health Plan, Pharmacy Benefit Management, or Healthcare Consulting

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent analytic skills

  • Ability to travel (up to 50%)
