How you’ll contributePerform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples.

  • Perform analytical testing per UT SOPs on raw material samples according to USP, EP, and JP.

  • Perform analytical testing on in-process, finished product, and stability samples per UT test methods and SOPs.

  • Prepare SOPs, set up calibration, and PM programs for the applicable equipment identified for the analytical laboratory.

  • Execute method transfer and method validation protocols as required.

  • Review quality control technicians’ documentation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

For this role you will need

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in chemistry or related scientific field

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical laboratory

  • 4+ years of experience in HPLC, Dissolution, GC and other analytical techniques

  • 4+ years of experience in raw materials USP, EP and JP analytical techniques

  • Strong knowledge of FDA, ICH, USP, EP, and JP requirements with respect to analytical activities

  • Strong knowledge of GMPs

  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized with the ability to prioritize work

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of multi functional team, with the ability to handle high workloads, stressful situations and manage deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with regulatory agencies

  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and email software

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Waters Empower Software and LIMS
