How you’ll contribute

This position is responsible for performing vendor master maintenance within approved working instructions and internal controls.

  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of Vendor Master Data in SAP

  • Performs analysis on Vendor Master and transactional data, executing current state analysis, documenting business processes

  • Recommend changes to improve data quality/processing times and anticipate future needs of the business

  • Process requests for Vendor Master Data (additions/modifications/deletions) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring policies and procedures are followed

  • Actively participate on team tasked with automation of Vendor Management process

  • Manage Vendor Maintenance tracker and communicate to the team on a weekly basis

  • Prioritize and manage day to day issues, resolving appropriately. Escalation to Supervisor or Manager when needed

  • Assist UT employees with any Vendor Master Data related questions, as required and assigned

  • Ensure work instructions are updated with necessary changes/updates as process enhancements occur

  • 100% compliance with Purchasing SOP and legal guidance

For this role you will need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience within similar or larger sized company

  • Minimum of 2 years of varied and progressive administrative responsibilities

  • Proficiency with corporate systems including Microsoft Outlook, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Purchasing or Vendor Master File Management

  • Previous experience with an ERP system a plus

  • Prior experience working with an automated data base is preferred

  • SAP Experience, or experience with other relevant ERP system
