How you’ll contribute

Administer the day-to-day activities of the HR function, including full life cycle recruitment, onboarding & orientation, policy administration, leave management & support, employee relations, performance management and employment law compliance. Partner with functional leaders to strategize, plan and develop customized HR strategies and approaches to drive employee performance and engagement. Ensure the execution of generalist support and strategy tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life cycle recruitment process, including collaborating with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, sourcing, screening and interviewing.

  • Ensure recruitment process is in compliance with OFCCP regulations, including outreach as required by the Company’s affirmative action plan.

  • Administer general employment life cycle activities for assigned locations/functions including new hire onboarding, terminations, leave management and employee performance and development.

  • Provide guidance and support on day to day general employee relations issues escalating more complex issues to a member of HR management and/or legal as appropriate.

  • Provide recommendations and support to leadership team in managing performance, including coaching, counseling and partnership on performance plan development.

  • Maintain HR information and manage relevant employee processes in the HRIS system, ensuring information is entered timely and accurately.

  • Provide guidance and/or develop job descriptions and conduct FLSA classification analysis.

  • Support general benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, FSAs, life insurance, STD/LTD and UT policies.

  • Manage the acquisition and vendor oversight for temporary associates, including ensuring agreements are up to date and accurate per UT standards.

  • Support HR project initiatives as assigned.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR programs and company-wide policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Provide support as needed with planning local employee events, such as the annual wellness fair, Take Your Child to Work Day, holiday party, volunteer service days.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

For this role you will need

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 7 years exempt level HR professional experience with a min of 5 years in a Generalist role

  • Ability to travel; approximately 15% - 20%

Preferred Requirements

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience

  • PHR certification
